Materials:
- 2 pieces of fabric (40 × 45 cm each)
- 2 lining pieces (40 × 45 cm each)
- 2 strap pieces (60 × 10 cm each) or ready-made handles
- Sewing machine or needle and thread
- Scissors
- Pins or clips
- Iron
Cut the fabric
- Cut the outer fabric and lining to the same size.
- Cut two strap pieces if you’re making fabric handles.
Make the handles
- Fold each strap lengthwise, right sides together.
- Sew along the long edge.
- Turn right side out, press flat, and topstitch.
Sew the outer bag
- Place the two outer fabric pieces right sides together.
- Sew the sides and bottom, leaving the top open.
Sew the lining
- Repeat with the lining pieces, but leave a 10 cm opening in the bottom for turning.
Attach the handles
- Pin the handles evenly to the outer bag, about 8–10 cm from each side seam.
Join the bag and lining
Sew around the top edge.Materials:
